Structured training for substation and OT teams
Corporate training in IEC 61850, OT cybersecurity, and digital substation systems
Customised training programmes for utilities, EPCs, and contractors operating in GCC and India markets. We align curriculum to your project environment — not a generic slide deck. Enquire to discuss scope, format, and delivery.

Why corporate training
OEM product training teaches the tool.
We teach the architecture.
A team that can each configure one vendor’s relay doesn’t commission a digital substation. A team that understands station bus versus process bus, GOOSE timing, PRP redundancy, and where the firewall belongs — does. Signarid’s corporate programmes close that gap across your entire engineering bench.
For utilities
Close the skills gap across substation operators before digital-substation rollout.
For EPCs
Scale vendor-neutral IEC 61850 expertise across bid, design and commissioning teams.
For integrators
Upskill project and site engineers on OT cybersecurity and network design.
For asset owners
Build the in-house fluency to evaluate OEM proposals on substance, not brochure.
How engagements work
Four steps from enquiry to delivery.
Discovery call
A 45-minute call with your training lead and an engineering stakeholder. We confirm the team, the project context, and the real gaps worth closing.
Assessment
A short written assessment scoped to the programmes you’re considering. Signarid reads it; you get a gap report. No off-the-shelf syllabi.
Proposal & scope
You get a concrete proposal: modules, duration, cohort size, on-site vs. virtual, pricing, and the outcomes each cohort will walk away with.
Delivery & follow-up
Training runs. Every participant gets a post-course reference pack and 30 days of email support for questions that come up on the real project.
Who this is for
Built for engineering teams
shipping digital substations.
You’re preparing a fleet-wide IEC 61850 rollout.
Get your substation, OT and SCADA teams speaking one vocabulary before the first digital substation goes into detailed design — not during commissioning.
You bid digital substation work across vendors.
Give your design, protection and FAT engineers vendor-neutral fluency, so OEM decisions are driven by your architecture, not the other way around.
You deliver SCADA, protection and network scope.
Close the gap between your network and protection teams on GOOSE, SV and PTP — so integration stops being a two-week FAT surprise.
You run an internal technical academy.
Drop a vendor-neutral digital-substation curriculum into your learning pathway, delivered by a field engineer and scoped to your assets.
Enquire
Tell us about the team and the project.
A 45-minute discovery call is usually the fastest way to understand whether we’re the right fit — and, if we are, what a realistic scope looks like. Typical response within one working day.
FAQ
Things teams usually ask.
OEM training teaches their product. Signarid teaches the IEC 61850 standard itself, plus the architecture around it — so your team can configure any vendor’s product correctly and challenge proposals on substance. We have deep field time at GE, Siemens and SEL, but we’re not selling any of them.
Yes. Programmes are delivered on-site across the GCC, India and South Asia, and selectively internationally. If travel is impractical we run hybrid or virtual cohorts over the same number of classroom hours.
Hands-on programmes run best at 12 – 20 engineers. Lecture-heavy modules scale to 40. Multi-week intensives are usually split into two parallel cohorts so no one sits at the back of the room.
Always. The pre-course assessment identifies your gear (relays, switches, SCADA stack), your project context (greenfield / brownfield / retrofit), and the roles of the participants. Slides, labs and SCL samples are adjusted to match.
Pricing depends on programme length, cohort size, location and whether labs are included. After the discovery call we issue a fixed-fee proposal — no hourly billing, no creeping scope.
Yes — every participant receives a co-branded attendance certificate documenting the programme, classroom hours and modules completed. It is not a regulated certification; for GICSP, CFOT or SecOT+ we map a prep pathway on the Career track.
